Easy recipe for a moist, chocolatey banana bread

Banana bread

There's nothing like a delicious homemade banana bread to tantalize your taste buds! Moist to perfection, with a hint of chocolate and a naturally sweet taste, this cake is perfect for a comforting snack or breakfast. 🍌🍞

Ingredients:

- 3 bananas (one for decoration)

- 3 eggs

- 100g no-sugar-added applesauce

- 30g to 40g sugar, honey, maple syrup or coconut sugar for a caramelized taste

- 150g flour

- 1/2 sachet baking powder

- 80g chocolate (dark or milk)

Recipe:

1) Start by mashing 2 bananas with a fork.

2) Mix with the eggs, sugar and applesauce to make a fluffy banana bread!

3) Gradually add the flour and baking powder (sift to avoid lumps). Add the crushed chocolate and pour into a mould.

4) Bake for 30 min at 190°C (keep a close eye on baking), then leave the cake to cool for a few moments.

You can either enjoy it immediately, or keep it chilled until ready to eat, and toast slices on the bread grill the next day!

To balance your breakfast, accompany 1-2 slices with yoghurt and seasonal fruit, or with frozen red fruit. 🍓🍊
