What is the European CSRD directive?

The European CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), effective from January 1, 2024, aims to strengthen and harmonize non-financial reporting by European companies. It succeeds the 2014 directive on the publication of non-financial information (NFRD). The European CSRD directive requires listed large companies and SMEs to disclose information on their environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance in a more detailed and standardized way. According to the public service website, the companies concerned must provide certified data on:

- Environment: reducing and adapting to climate change, preserving biodiversity, sustainable resource management.

- Social: promoting equal opportunities, improving working conditions, respecting human rights.

- Governance: roles of administrative bodies, lobbying activities, managing relations with business partners.

By integrating the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the CSRD aims to promote greater transparency and better management of the environmental, social and governance impacts of companies.

How SPART helps you comply with the European CSRD directive

SPART helps you to effectively meet the requirements of the European CSRD directive by improving the physical, mental and social well-being of your employees. We encourage your employees to adopt soft mobility, thus helping to preserve the environment.

SPART enables you to measure your efforts and respond to environmental challenges by limiting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Thanks to the indicator of kilograms of CO2 saved, you can precisely quantify these reductions.

SPART helps you meet your CSR commitments, particularly in the social sphere.

Health and physical well-being

SPART improves the physical health of your employees by encouraging them to engage in physical activity.

You'll be able to track your employees' progress with precise data, such as the number of hours of physical activity completed and the distance covered each week. This will enable you to measure the tangible benefits to their physical health.

It helps combat musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), prevent and treat illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes and cancer, and maintain physical fitness. 71% of employees say that company sport improves health(OpinionWay survey for Kelio), and 68% of people who say they are in good or very good health play sport regularly, compared with 42% of people who say they are in poor or very poor health(INJEP).

Team cohesion and inclusion

At SPART, we firmly believe that sport is a powerful vehicle for team building. Thanks to our application-integrated discussion spaces and the organization of physical and fun activities, we foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment while encouraging cooperation and surpassing oneself.

With SPART, you can measure engagement and communication within your team through indicators such as the number of chat messages sent. You can also assess employees' sense of belonging and integration into the company through integration assessments. These indicators will enable you to measure improvements in team cohesion.

In fact, our instant messaging and content sharing features facilitate communication between team members, even at a distance, strengthening the bonds between colleagues. Sport helps to strengthen team bonds, promote inclusion and create a climate of trust and mutual support. By incorporating activities suitable for all, SPART ensures that every employee, whatever their level of fitness, can participate and feel involved. 62% of employees believe that corporate sport has a positive impact on the atmosphere and cohesion at work(OpinionWay survey for Kelio).
